Squash Macaroons Recipe

Macaroons is well liked by children and adults alike. It can be in the form of small cakes or meringue-like cookies. The outside is golden brown but the inside is moist.

Grated squash can be added to the macaroons recipe. Your children will like this one because of its sweet blend. What’s more, you are going to give them a vitamin A rich food. Vitamin A is good for the eyesight.

This squash macaroons recipe is easy to prepare and you only need a few ingredients.


1/2 cup butter
4 eggs
1/3 cup sugar (refined)
1/3-1 cup condensed milk
1/2 pack desiccated coconut
3/4 cup grated squash
2 tsp vanilla
A pinch of salt


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Meanwhile, cream butter until light and fluffy using a wire whisk.

3. Gradually add sugar while constantly stirring.

4. Add eggs one at a time, making sure to constantly stir after adding each egg.

5. Add the condensed milk, desiccated coconut, squash, vanilla and salt. Mix well.

6. Put in small muffin molds lined with paper or aluminum foil.

7. Place into the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

8. Let cool and serve.

You can package the finished product and can be sold for your food business.
